State & Federal Advocacy Days

Arizona Tourism Advocacy Day

Arizona State Capitol, Senate Lawn

AzLTA leadership, members and staff convene at Arizona’s State Capitol to brief state legislators on the critical economic impact of our industry. Lodging & tourism is the only industry to positively impact all 15 counties in Arizona and drives over $21 billion in director visitor spending. After briefings with state senators and state representatives, AzLTA hosts a locally catered lunch on the House Lawn and invites all state legislators and their staffs to attend.

This incredible opportunity allows for AzLTA members to share powerful stories and make impactful connections with state lawmakers. Advocacy Day is an annual event that supports AzLTA’s continual efforts of elevating the prominence of Arizona’s lodging and tourism industry and the association’s voice of advocacy for public policy formulation favorable to its stakeholders.
